What Makes us Special?
Christian Preschool
At Little Fishes children learn more than their ABCs, numbers, shapes and colors. We are a faith-based, Christian preschool that teaches every child that they are loved. They are unique and they are special. They learn that there is a God that loves them unconditionally. We learn Bible verses. Read Bible stories. Listen to Christian music and pray before our meals.
Weekly
Themes
Every week is something new and different! Weekly themes include All About Me, My Emotions, Community Helpers, Fire Safety, Weather, Animals, Outer Space and so much more. I follow a curriculum but also add and tailor the material to the unique interests and abilities of each group of preschoolers. Each theme includes hands-on activities, science, literacy building, math and more.
Screen-free Classroom
We do not use screens in our classroom. We spend our days doing hands-on learning through sensory activities, science, cooking, outdoor play, field trips, puzzles, books and imaginative play.
Field Trips/ Visitors
Field trips and visitors make learning come alive for preschoolers. We invite firefighters and police officers to visit preschool as well as taking trips to the zoo, the apple orchard and the science museum to enhance what we are learning about in the classroom.
Small
Group
While Little Fishes Preschool is fully licensed for up to ten preschoolers, we only enroll a maximum of seven preschoolers to allow for plenty of one-on-one attention to help your child learn and grow in a way that works best for them. A small group fosters close friendships, trust and individualized attention.
